Preserve the stories your family doesn’t want to lose.
Memoria helps older adults record life memories through gentle prompts, voice-first journaling, and automatic organization.
The stories are there. Starting is the hard part.
Families often realize too late that they never recorded the stories behind old photos, childhood memories, family history, and life lessons.
Traditional journaling can be hard. Formal interviews can feel awkward. A blank page doesn’t help anyone begin.
How it works
Three steps, at your own pace.
01
Choose a prompt
Gentle questions help start the memory. No blank page, no pressure — just a place to begin.
02
Record naturally
Speak, pause, and continue at your own pace. Take as long as the story needs.
03
Keep the memory
Memoria saves, transcribes, summarizes, and organizes the memory for later — so you can return to it whenever you want.
After a recording finishes, Memoria continues saving and processing in the background — so you can close the app and return whenever you’re ready.
From beta testing
One travel-memory prompt led to a recording that ran for 1 hour and 23 minutes.
The person recording said the experience felt immersive — "like someone was listening patiently." Being able to pause was a relief. The story just kept going.
That session shaped how Memoria works: saving the memory comes first. Sync, transcription, and summarization happen in the background, quietly, after you’re done.
Why Memoria
Designed to make storytelling feel natural.
Gentle prompts
Help people begin without facing a blank page. Questions make starting easy.
Voice-first recording
Speak naturally. Easier than typing a long story, and more true to how we remember.
Pause and continue
Step away for a moment. Come back when you're ready. The story waits.
Safe by default
Recordings are preserved before processing completes. The memory is kept, whatever happens next.
Organized memories
Stories are transcribed, summarized, and organized — so they're easier to revisit and share.
Family-ready
Built toward helping families preserve and revisit stories together, across generations.
Accessibility
Designed for real conversations, not perfect app behavior.
Memoria is built for the people doing the remembering — not for power users. Every part of the experience is designed to feel calm, clear, and forgiving.
- Clear recording flow with large, understandable controls
- Low-pressure interaction — no timers, no urgency
- Pause and return without losing your place
- Forgiving loading states so nothing feels broken
- Minimal typing — speak instead of write
- Calm, quiet feedback throughout
For storytellers and the people who love them.
